Walter Reed Army Medical Center - TBI Staff Lecture Series (CANCELED FOR JULY)

7/1/2010

The July 1, 2010 lecture has been canceled.
The series will resume on August 5th.

The Walter Reed Army Medical Center's TBI Staff Lecture Series is held on the first Thursday of every month from 1400-1500 in the Joel Auditorium. Others may participate through tele/videoconference.

These lectures offer clinical perspectives on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with Traumatic Brain Injury. Clinicians share their knowledge, expertise and real life experiences treating service members who have sustained a TBI or concussion during current combat deployments. Programs are designed to educate and inform military, VA and civilian health providers on strategies for symptom management, clinical practice guidelines and systems to improve medical transition and care coordination across health networks.

Future programs will be archived for viewing by the public. Speakers include WRAMC staff, DVBIC staff, and guest lecturers. Military and VA healthcare providers may attend this lecture series at select sites.

Requests for further information may be directed to DVBIC Headquarters using our Contact Us form.
